Business EXPO - the Chamber's annual trade show and Joplin's largest business-to-business event allows members to showcase products and services to thousands of area decision makers and residents. Business Expo is held every year in January.

Business Outlook - A monthly newsletter keeping members informed of Chamber events, initiatives, programs, services and the latest in business and community issues. It's an advertising opportunity reaching more than 2,000 business people in southwest Missouri.

Chamber Annual Banquet - Live annual report filled with entertainment and awards.

Education Programs - Your Chamber partners with area school systems to provide training and support to help students make wise career choices and develop skills in leadership and ethical decision-making. We also take an active role in addressing Joplin's at-risk students through the TREK coaching program.

Eggs & Issues - Educates area communities on legislative issues.

First Friday Coffee/Business After Hours - Hosted once a month to highlight individual businesses and offer an informal setting for the area's business professionals to meet, mingle and make contacts.

Good Morning Joplin - A quarterly breakfast gathers members for networking and the opportunity to hear about what's happening in Joplin. Morning speakers have "one minute of fame" to highlight their business.

Hot Links Annual Golf Tournament - One of the premier golf outings in Joplin. A mixture of recreation and networking with great food and prizes make this one of the Chamber's leading fundraising activities of the year.

Joplin Capital Corporation (JCC) - The financial institutions of Joplin have joined together to form a multi-bank community development program to facilitate economic development in Joplin's economically under-served areas.

Member Discounts - Value-added benefit programs give Chamber members the opportunity to do business with other members and offer exclusive "members only" discounts.

Member Referrals - When business information is requested either by telephone or walk-ins, we always refer Chamber members first. Some people are very reluctant to do business with non-members. We also display brochures from members in the office. As new residents come in for maps, phone books, etc., many will pick up information on your business.

Members Monday and Mid-week Memos - Weekly Chamber email update on activities and programs.

Membership Directory/Community Profile - Chamber members are listed alphabetically, by business category and contact name. The Chamber encourages members to turn to the directory first when looking for a particular product, service or community information. 7,500 copies are printed and circulated annually. Advertising is available to members only.

Prospective New Residents- A list compiled each month providing names and addresses of people considering a move to Joplin. These lists sell for $1 per name and are an excellent way to inform prospective new Joplin residents about your business.

Ribbon Cuttings/Groundbreakings - A business memory members won't forget! Member businesses are encouraged to celebrate their special occasion with our prestigious Ambassadors (red coats) and receive exposure through the Chamber newsletter and other media.

Room Rentals - The Chamber opens its doors to this member-only privilege. You can hold hourly, day-long or evening meetings at the Chamber for a nominal fee.

Seminars/Workshops - Seminars and workshops are offered through the Chamber in an array of subjects that motivate and educate people. Presentations that develop lasting skills for creating positive, productive and profitable workplaces.

Small Business Resource Center - Research business ideas, checkout current periodicals and training material. Keep current on your computer skills, make brochures and use the LCD projector. Four new books are added monthly.

Southwest Community Development Alliance - Advances economic development efforts in southwest Missouri.

Sponsorships - Members can gain excellent publicity by sponsoring events throughout the year. This direct exposure is unmatched in the business community.

Targeted Mailings - Available to members only for a nominal fee with full membership listings, primary contact listings and community group listings.

Web Site/Links - www.joplincc.com, the Chamber's on line connection to a virtual world of business and community information. The Chamber website is a one-stop guide linking Chamber members' sites at no charge.
