• The Advanced Training & Technology Center (ATTC) is a partnership between the Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce Foundation, City of Joplin, Crowder College and Workforce Innovation Board (WIB).
  • Crowder is teaching classes in welding, advanced manufacturing, information technology, computer-aided drafting and community health.
  • Crowder offers customized training opportunities for area businesses (i.e. a business can send their employees to get trained in a specific area or skill set).
  • This building has two main functions: workforce training and business incubation. WIB and Crowder assist individuals in making the step up to get trained. The incubator space provides entrepreneurs and innovators the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality.
  • Building includes 6,229 square feet of additional business incubator space. The building includes a full commercial kitchen to incubate culinary businesses. There is also a new larger Makerspace in the building.
    • Incubator space allows for businesses to easily expand.
    • Incubator space has a lot of built-in utility in terms of use. Space can be used for office space, manufacturing space and plenty of other opportunities.
    • Kitchen incubator is available to rent by the hour.
  • This building was made possible through the CDBG-DR grant money from the City of Joplin. The JACCF received $6.5 million to purchase, renovate and equip the building.
  • ATTC has a 150 mg up and down AT&T internet connection.
